Mixer showers are the perfect addition to the bathroom. A mixer shower enables you the luxury of having a powerful showering system without having visible pipe work. These fantastic systems allow you to have a shower system that is elegant in design more powerful than an electric shower and can be either flush mounted with the wall, concealed or unconcealed.

Mixer showers are very easily installed and have the benefit of having no electrical requirements. Simply the mixer shower works through your existing hot and cold water feeds and works by mixing both the hot and cold water together. It is ideal when fitting to install a pressure reducing valve to enable the pressure of the flow rates between the hot and cold water to be regulated to an even pressure.

The mixer showers need to have between 1.5 bar and 2 bar of pressure to run effectively. If you have a standard combination boiler or multi point water heater then you will not require any further pressure to run the mixer shower, but if you have a gravity fed system you will need to purchase a water booster pump.
